- sheet 3 - E.5/HP.9.5.35. The major objection is, of course, that the assistance to the brakes is not maintained after the engine is stopped. The rear brakes are fitted with single shoes and a hand lever operates on the same shoes by mechanical pick-up. This should have helped to save weight.
