Carburetter. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E.25.2.35. The modification to the 20/25 HP. Carburetter for which you have received a Standardisation Sheet consists of an external pipe which connects the float chamber to the intake side carburetter. This modification eliminates hesitation on the pick-up - a trouble which has occurred on a number of cars but which was not evident on the first one or two Experimental carburetters. This modification enables the carburetter to be set weaker than would otherwise be possible. We attach a drawing, LeC.4292, showing what this modification is.
