Mr. Mills. In order to keep the various brake liners separate that have been instructed for the above experiment, it has been decided to give separate I numbers for each material.

We give below the numbers that have been issued.

X. 1318 Brake Liners. Cast iron by Wm. Mills Ltd.
X. 1319 " " Phosphor bronze, 5% lead.
X. 1320 " " " 10% "
X. 1321 " " drums lined with cast iron.
X. 1322 " " Cast iron by the Brittania Foundry Company.
X. 1323 " " Copper.
