HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M10.10.28. re. CHROMIUM PLATING EXTERIOR FITTINGS ON CARS. X1360 We are now able to get the headlamps, door handles, windscreen, and all such exterior fittings, chromium plated. We were thinking of having one of the "SS{S. Smith}" cars finished in this way. However, since chromium plating is so white it makes the nickel radiator look like brass. Is it possible to have the radiator chromium plated. We understand that the chromium will only hold well on nickel, so this is in our favour.
