Dear Sirs,

Re Hobson K-S Petrol Telegage.

We beg to thank you for your letter of the 18th inst., regarding the above, and regret to hear that the instrument has been behaving erratically, As explained on the telephone to your Mr. Hives to-day, we are inclined to think that this is caused by moisture or petrol having got into the air line. It may be that the air line was not absolutely clear of moisture when supplied by us, or possibly petrol has got into the installation.

This is a rare occurrence with installations fitted by routine methods, but happens sometimes when tests are being made, and the air line is being coupled and un-coupled for test purposes.

We are particularly anxious to ensure that this instrument shall work satisfactorily, and as stated on
