FRONT HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPER SEC:7160.
REAR HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPER SEC:7150.

MODIFIED POUNDAGE FOR SHOCK DAMPERS TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOW RATED SPRINGS.

In accordance with Expl: instructions Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/KT.10.6.31, we instructed the Works to give increased load. The low pressure being increased on the Front Damper from 45 lbs. to 90 lbs. and on the Rear Damper from 65 lbs. to 90 lbs., but Mr.Brock reports that the Valve Spring F.75902 specified, is not suitable, and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} agreed that the Expl: Dept. would try out a new spring and inform us if satisfactory so that we could instruct this on Production.

Herewith one Blue Print of each of the following for use as follows:-

SEC:7160.-
F.58160 Low Pressure Valve Spring. 2 off. replacing F.75902.
F.58162 " " Cap.2 " F.77141.

SEC:7150.-
F.58160 Low Pressure Valve Spring. 2 off. replacing F.75902.
F.58161 " " Cap.2 " F.77140.
