RR 238 (100 BKS.) (SH57. 29-6-20.) MP 224258 X.4383 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} Order No. AC.3, Customer's No. 1 5 March 1924 x4383 Goshawk Dynamo Output at Below Freezing Point. A Goshawk dynamo, No 604, carefully set to comply with the production test output, was put, with a thermometer, out-of-doors all night during a frost. In the morning the temperature registered was about -1°C. The machine was then put on the bench and its maximum output at this temperature, working on the cold battery characteristic, was observed. This was found to be 13.0 amps at about 1300 rpm. Signed: A.A. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
