1023 February11th.1938 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.9/AP. J.R.Engineering Co.Ltd., Pound Lane, Willesden, LONDON N.W.10. Dear Mr.Ridlington, I am enclosing a print of a bumper FB.3613 which we want to buy complete with over-riders but no badge for 25/-- We have marked the position of the wing so that you can see the limitations for the ends of the bumper. If you think you could produce a bumper at this price we should be very pleased to see the design you would suggest. I have circulated a note concerning bumper prices stating your figures for the FW.1110 bumper of £2. 15. 0. for quantities of 100 and £2. 14. 0. for quantities of 500. I think you should be investigating methods by which you could save at least another 10/-. Is there any question of us paying a tool cost which would help the price of the article. These prices of course include over-riders and badge. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
