| ARTIC GREEN RING NON-DAZZLE HEADLAMPS. Non-Dazzle Fitment adapted to Lucas Type R45 6-in. Headlight. Penetrating Range 259 feet. Non-Dazzle Range 160 feet. The ARTIC Non-Dazzle Fitment can be easily fitted to the Lucas R45 Headlamp, and is of attractive appearance. What ARTIC Green Ring Non-Dazzle Headlamps will do for you. (1) The Main Beam has a penetrating range of 259 feet using a small 6-in. lamp. (2) The non-dazzle range complies fully with the Ministry of Transport requirements, being over 150 feet. (3) Brilliant side illumination is obtained at right angles to the car, illuminating perfectly the side of the road and projecting a brilliant beam of light over 50 feet down a side road, before any turning movement of the car is made. This is a unique characteristic unobtainable in any other type of lamp. (4) The flat topped main beam of light together with the brilliant side beams makes night driving easier, safer and less fatiguing. (5) The whole of the uprising rays of light instead of being lost are transposed and deflected downwards on to the road, thus obtaining maximum illumination exactly where it is required. (6) As the light is not thrown upwards in the face of the driver, and brilliant side beams are projected on the sides of the road close to the car, it is the ideal light for driving in a fog.
