Major Halford,
Golden Square,
Piccadilly,
LONDON. W.L.

Dear Major Halford,

I notice an advertisement in "Automotive Industries" which indicated that you were using RR.56 rods running directly on the crankshaft.

We have been doing an enormous amount of work lately on aluminium alloys used on bearings, and a discussion on the subject might be to our mutual advantage.

Can you manage to get up to Derby, and see what we are doing ? alternatively, I might call at Stag Lane sometime.

Yours sincerely,
