Standardisation of a 4 port cylinder head for the Phantom III.

| RR 755 (10M) 38137 7-4-37 WHK 26070 COMPLETED 26.8.37. PHANTOM III STANDARDISATION of PARTS. Description of Parts: 4 PORT CYLINDER HEAD. Origin: To match up with 4 port induction system for simplicity and saving in production cost. Report of Experimental Test: Actual 4 port head which ran 15,000 miles is slightly different to the one which this sheet standardises in that exhaust hot spot passage is deleted and other minor alterations to bosses etc. 15,000 miles was ran with solid rockers. Included with the head the simplified cored hot box was not run, however other tests show that these alterations should nor deter from standardising uptedate 4 port head and fitments. Attached is specifications.
