A.{Mr Adams} Robotham c/o Rolls-Royce, Ltd. Derby, England Dear Mr. Robotham: When the statement of your indebtedness came from the Detroit Athletic Club, the amount was so out of line with what you had intimated you thought it might be, that we wrote back asking them for an itemized account. Enclosed is what they have sent, and we hesitate to pay it without having you check it. We are holding here for you the sum of $50.52, made up as follows: Advanced by you for unpaid accounts..... $70.00 Less indebtedness to Mr.Inskip for theatre tickets......... 15.85 Less balance due on Lincoln brake drum .................... 3.63 ______ 19.48 ______ $50.52 If the Club account is in order, we suggest that we forward the $50.52 to them on account and advise them that you will take care of the balance direct from England. However, we shall not do this until we hear from you. Meanwhile, we wonder if you would be kind enough to pass the enclosed statement along to Mr. Elliott covering his indebtedness to the Club. Yours very truly, Secretary to Mr. Inskip Enc.(2) | ||
