RR 236 (150 BKS.) (D3 431-8-12 24) MP 306975 X 4473 1 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.7.b. Order No.: WC2 Customer's No.: (Helsby) 26-1-1927 British Insulated wires. We have examined the samples submitted and do not consider that they differ from our Standard wires. We agree with Mr Brock that the enamelled (1004) wire is of good quality and we might try it on our ignition coils in preference to the Glover, but we do not see anything materially superior in the other samples lot justify any change in our source of supply. It is difficult to obtain satisfactory comparative tests unless coils are made up and tested etc, there is insufficient wire to do this. Signed: H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
