-4- Contd. the positive brush is important in another respect, that as this brush has to carry more current, the more perfect the bedding the less the heating of the commutator, though it will be found that as regards output, correct bedding of this brush will not make very much difference. To concede to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s request for instructions for the use of outside men in the case of excessive output or bad commutation, we give such instructions on sheets attached.
