Secret memorandum discussing design improvements for the dashboard and bonnet of the 20/25 HP chassis.

We send herewith N.Sch.3047 showing the improved bonnet and dashboard for the 20/25 HP. Chassis. This design has the same radiator as that for the original one N.Sch.2980, but after seeing a model of the bonnet and dashboard shewn on that drawing, we have come to the conclusion that the appearance would not have been satisfactory. We have made a model of the one shewn on this drawing, and we have hopes that this will be much more satisfactory. With respect to the new experimental 20/25 HP. car, for which we have a body in hand at Messrs. Park Wards, we have instructed them to modify the scuttle of the body which we made to our N.Sch.2980 to the design shewn on this drawing. We shall therefore wish the bonnet and dash of the chassis to be accordingly changed. 4 In passing, it may be of interest to note that we believe the body changes have been affected without any cost to ourselves. We are anxious to have the bonnet for this car so that we can proceed with the painting. We should therefore be glad if you would put in hand the parts immediately.
