Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X5800 BY4/G.1.10.28. HEADLAMPS. ---------- Mr. Pacy, Sales Manager of Joseph Lucas Limited, came through to us on the telephone this afternoon to enquire whether we had in mind standardising the new large Lucas headlamp, type RB.{R. Bowen}160, which is intended for the 20 HP. car. The lamps in question have not been long in our hands, but apparently Mr. Pacy and Mr. Sidgreaves had been discussing the matter and Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has apparently told them to ginger us up. I would like to know whether you have been able to use the lamp at all, because if not we shall be able to tell them that it will not be required before the Show in any case. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} P.S. We also attach copy of Bs{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}2/M/1.10.28. received from Sales in connection with the same matter. | ||
