-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Mths.{Reg Matthews}7/KW.17.2.36. The maximum variation of the position of the distributor tower on any number of engines would be approximately 12°. When fitting this tower it is absolutely necessary that the serrations in the drive pieces are not a tight fit together. It is advisable to have them a rather slack fit in order to allow for slight misalignment of the drive and to prevent movement of the distributor tower.
