We suggest that the only feasible method of attacking the difficulty in practice is to change the front tyres of a car and put them on the rear if the car seems to have an abnormal tendency to wobble.

These remarks only apply to new high pressure tyres. It is naturally imperative that tyres damaged by wear, in which portions of the tread have become detached or badly worn through braking, should not be fitted on the front axle.

Should a tyre appear to be eccentric to the rim when the wheel is spun on its hub, it may be suspected as a potential source of trouble.
