BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X235 C. to SG. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} . HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} SHOCK DAMPERS. DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 4/M23.4.31. Herewith we send N. sch. 3268. shewing the piston modified in accordance with R1/M14.4.31. We have shewn the first two alternatives, namely, a bolt located by a taper and a plain parallel bolt, and we should be glad if Derby would say which of the two they would prefer from a manufacturing point of view. We expect that they will prefer the lower one, in which case all that will be needed is to try it out. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
