84300 Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/MA. January 3rd., 1933. J.Edward Hiles, M.I.H.V.E. Offa Street, St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Peter's Square, Hereford. Dear Sir, We are in receipt of your letter reference JEH/VW. of the 28th., ultimo addressed to Mr.Lovesey for which we thank you. Before asking you to demonstrate your system of interior car heating we should like to have further particulars of the principles involved. The folders you enclosed with your letter do not give very much information. We have very little demand for car heaters and to cover the requests that we do get we have recently approved of the Clayton Dewandre system; this system as you probably know is arranged to be controlled either by thermostat or by hand and appears to us to be entirely satisfactory. We shall be interested to hear if your system offers any advantages not embodied in the Clayton Dewandre method. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
