1379 To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel} c.c. to BP/Y1. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}19/JH.17.1.39. B.27.LE. Paulin, Paris. About 5-30 p.m., 16th. we received a telegram from Ratcliffe at Paris asking for stronger clutch springs. The writer took 9 white B. & B. springs to Mr. Yarnell, who despatched them per air mail to Paris, together with a telegram reading as follows :- 'Francobrit, Levallois-Perret, CLUTCH SPRINGS B.27.LE. LEAVING AIRMAIL TONIGHT PARCEL 17702 VIA HERNU PERON PLEASE ADVISE RATCLIFFE. ROYCAR. Will you please confirm this despatch in the usual way.
