TELEPHONE No.: TEMPLE BAR 4363 TELEGRAMS: NEWNES, RAND, LONDON Handwritten: JH (circled) Handwritten: r6033. 7th January, 1936. The Works Manager, Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. Handwritten: WST Dear Sir, I am writing to you in connection with our recently published journal, "THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER", which, as you may know, has been planned to provide useful information to users of electrical power in industry. A journal of this kind can only attain its maximum utility by establishing close contact with some of the more important industries in which electrical power is largely used. I am therefore writing to ask if you would let me have the benefit of your comments or suggestions. In the latter connection I would say that if there is any application of electrical work which would be of special interest to you as a reader, I should be glad to hear from you on this point. With Compliments, Yours faithfully, [Signature] Editor. P.S. If you or any members of your Staff would care to send along contributions for the section "Engineers' Experiences" - or any other items likely to be of editorial interest - these will receive careful consideration and, if accepted, would of course be paid for at our standard rates.
