This will increase the size of the distributing board, but as we cannot get it on the dynamo without getting in the way of the adjustment of the valve tappet, we find this position to be the most satisfactory. With reference to the switch, we sent you at the end of September, the design of the lockable combined ignition and lighting switch with a press button for the dashboard light, and the connection socket for the inspection lamp. We find, however, on applying it to the instrument board, that it looks rather larger, and we should, if we were redrawing the job, reduce the linear dimensions about 10% . Can you carry this out at Derby ? R.{Sir Henry Royce} R.R. 238A 100 (T) (S.H.T)S. 10-12-20 (8) G.2947 | ||
