With reference to your note re Mr. Duckham's 4¼-litre Bentley, it is almost impossible to give an opinion as to whether the cylinder bore wear of the car is average without knowing the conditions under which the car is used. Generally speaking, however, we should say that a cylinder bore wear in the worst place of about 1½ tenths per thousand miles is reasonable.
