To: Each individual mentioned herein. from Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 5/h. 3.10.41. Ref. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 1/WS. 30.9.41. PETROL SUPPLIES. Great pressure is being exercised on Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. by the Petroleum Board to reduce the amount of supplementary petrol rations issued to their employees. If we do not reduce the amount of supplementary petrol used of our own volition, we may be 'cut' indiscriminately. It would appear from the location of the homes of the people mentioned below, that a bus route is available. Reid, G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Collin, G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Cockerham, F.J. Hallam, Frank. Peak, H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Greenwood, W. We should like to know whether there is any specific reason why the bus route cannot be utilised, at least for a large percentage of the journeys made.
