This is 122 lbs. heavier than the 40/50. Nearly all is in the crankchamber, clutch and flywheel. I think when time permits we must make an effort to reduce this.

As well we must also not rest content until we have a smooth low compression engine giving 120 B.H.P. at flywheel, at 2,500 revs, free exhaust.

Kindly let me know what percentage larger the carburetter is we are making than the one fitted to PN{Mr Northey}'s engine, which gave 109 B.H.P. @ 2600 revs.

Also evidently the valves should be made to follow the cams up to 3,000 revs.

Three times the rating @ 3,000 revs. will be good.
