C.W. Nichols, Esq.,
Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
LONDON, N.W.2.

Dear Mr. Nichols,

We want a petrol gauge for E.R. Hall's car which is running at Le Mans this year.

We attach blue prints of the large petrol tank which will be fitted for this race. We shall be very much obliged if you could supply us with a gauge for this tank as soon as possible.

Will it also be possible to provide a large face to the gauge, as the standard size is too small for registering 33 gallons under race conditions.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
