As a result of R's note R6/G29.6.20, re Instruction Book Matter, which we now return, having made the necessary copies, we sent to Mr. Elliott a note EFC1/T31.7.20, copy of which we attach, and have now sent him a further note to-day, copy of which we also attach. Any explanation that is needed is contained in these two notes to Mr. Elliott. We further attach copies of the improved version of heavy type "Care of Battery" and also of the paragraph "Charging from External Source", as it is in these two portions of the matter that the text has been altered to the greatest extent. You will see from this that we are not quite in a position to let you have our finally approved version of the whole matter, but have made all the necessary modifications up-to-date in the Booklet, and hope to complete this when the answer is received from Mr. Elliott. After which, we will place the whole matter again in your hands. We further attach copies of some correspondence from a Mr. Ford, which is self-explanatory. You will see that this Mr. Ford will expect to receive a copy of the Electrical Appendix as soon as ever one of these is available, (Contd.) | ||
