The following parts were run, but not standardised and have given results available for future reference.

EB.2704. Connecting Rods with big end Satisfactory on this car
bearings in A.C.S.S. & A.C.G.S. but material found to be
inconsistent in silicon
coming to the surface.

Ex.23305. Inlet Valves in S.65. Satisfactory. Further
mileage required before
standardising.

EB.2970. Exhaust Valves in S/SLV. Test spoiled by faulty
cylinder head.

EB.175. Valve Springs produced in Samples for trial and
American low carbon wire in comparison.
U.S.A. No trouble.

E.87984 Tecalemit pressure oil filter. Standardisation sheet
Lec.4692. rejected.

GB.2100. Ventilation scheme for Clutch. Run to gain experience.
Additional cost does not
justify standardisation.

GB.2100. Extra bearing area for lugs Satisfactory. Will be
in clutch. available for use in case
of serious trouble in
service. Up to the
present trouble has only
occurred on endurance
running on test beds.

GB.2100. Modified cross cushion plate Has not shown itself to
for clutch. be superior to present
standard plate, hence
no further action will be
