Further to my Wn7/H20.12.24., to which was attached a copy of Wn33/H11.12.24. giving particulars of Identity Cards which it is essential that foreigners should take out in France, if their stay in France is to last more than 15 days, please note that in "The Times" of January 23rd. the following information is given:- "It is officially announced that British Passports "will be considered sufficient evidence for the "issue of the French identity cards which, under "the new regulations every foreigner visiting France "for more than 15 days must obtain, and the other "documents mentioned in the Presidential Decree on "the subject will not be necessary".
