'SS{S. Smith}' OIL PRESSURES. +7010
With reference to E1/M15.2.29. On starting up the SS.{S. Smith} engine from cold and running at approx. 500 r.p.m. the oil pressures attain the following max. values :-
High............. 32.0 lbs/sq.in.
Intermediate..... 16.0 " " "
Low.............. 5.5 " " "
It is necessary for the engine to run approx. three minutes before these values are attained.
