12th July, 1939.

Dear Sirs,

In thanking you for your letter of the 10th, we would confirm our telephone conversation wherein we explained that we would not recommend the use of tubes with rubber valves as Racing equipment.

We understand that the tubes which you received with the 6.50-16 covers had not the rim bushings which had previously been supplied, and we are having six sent on.

We are also paying attention to this point in connection with the additional six Track Racing tyres which we have on order for you.

The further covers which you requested us to put in hand, namely 4, 6.50-19 and 5.50-18, are in stock and will be sent off, together with the six 6.50-16, so that they may be at Brooklands on Tuesday morning and will be available for your requirements.

These two sizes are being supplied in the identical types as those previously sent over to France for your tests.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
