Dear Mr.Sidgreaves,

A colleague of mine, who has made a study of springing, has an article in preparation dealing with the frequencies employed for the front and rear springs of cars of various types. He is getting together some tabulated data which we thought of publishing, and I wondered whether you would care to let us have any figures for the suspension of the 40-50 h.p. Rolls-Royce.

The figures which he would like to have are the sprung and unsprung axle weights, front and rear, and the ratings of the respective springs, assuming the car to be fitted with a typical coachbuilt closed body.......

Yours sincerely,
