S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X106P Y140 CWES/GW/27.3.28. DIFFERENTIAL GEAR. Have you yet decided to make a test of the S. de Lavaud Differential Gear? I am very keen indeed on this being tried, more particularly after the recent accident which, if claims for it are borne out would have stopped all tail wagging. All that is necessary to obtain a gear without any cost is for you to tell me you wish to test it and let me have the necessary drawings of the differential housing and the gear will be made to fit in the place of our existing differential.
