CHASSIS CONFERENCE.

I attach Agendas for Chassis Conference, but prior to taking these items, I propose to read and discuss a memorandum sent to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and myself, which I believe to be a constructive criticism on the position in which we find ourselves at the moment.

Secondly, the desirability of buying one or two foreign cars in order to ascertain the progress which has been made in chassis design. It is suggested in some quarters that the 'Lincoln' and the 'Essex Terraplane' are two cars that we should get hold of at the earliest possible moment.
