Re Magneto Universal Joint. X429
TEB7/L28712.

Mr Elliott 25.7.12.

Mr Platford reports that the
rear universal joint on the magneto
drive shaft gives some amount of trouble
as regards wearing slack. This difficulty
he puts down to the fact that any dirt
and dust passing through the guard will
be thrown on to this joint owing to its
position.

It is suggested that some form
of cover could be devised for this
joint.

Will you kindly get out some
suitable schemes for the protection of
this joint.
