Our Ref: GAH/EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}

For the attention of Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

I have just received your letter dated October 23rd, on my return to the factory this morning, and I note that you are forwarding to us a faulty set which was first fitted on the 20th of September 1938.

I have carefully noted all your remarks re the trouble, but will reserve any further comments until I have had an opportunity of examining the set.

Before returning this set I will ensure that it is brought absolutely up to date in line with the sets that we have been making recently, and I can assure you that we shall be most anxious to co-operate again with you in this work, when, as you state, friend Adolf has been exterminated.

I will write you again as soon as we have had the set in our Laboratories, which I hope will be early next week.

Yours faithfully,

FERRANTI LTD.
