Mr. Claude Johnson,
Managing Director,
Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
London, England.

Attention: Mr. Hives.

Dear Sir:-

Re: Shutters in Bonnets

I have received Mr. Hives' request for data as to the use of shutters in bonnets. My impression is that they are not used.

I have sent copies of Mr. Hives' memo to Messrs. Caswell, Hulley, Gardner, Keim and Nadin, re-questing their views, and will forward their replies as soon as received.

Very truly yours,

ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, Inc.
