Requirements for switchboxes to work with a long distribution box and auto switch unit.

We already have on 14-GIV one of the original India switchboxes with the extended A contact. This will be suitable for running in conjunction with the auto switch type of long distribution box with we hope to instruct for this chassis. In regard to switchboxes suitable for running in conjunction with this unit on an S.S. chassis, the type of switchbox we require is one which switches off magneto in the first position, but at the same time has the extended armature contact to that first position. It will therefore be as follows :- OFF; B(& A); M B & C; M & C. Would you please instruct two switchboxes suitable for this which are really little else than the original S.S. switchbox with the M deleted from the first position. We have not yet decided which two experimental S.S. cars will be fitted with these auto switch systems. EFC. | ||
