To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1505 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/T16.6.26. x8774 x8830 With reference to your Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Evl/M14.6.26 we are at the present moment fitting a spare wheel carrier on to this car. We shall, however, have to remove this item from the car before it goes to Barker's as it is not standard. If you will let us know whether Barker's actually have the wings, etc. made for this car, we can let them have it almost immediately. We do not, however, wish it to go down there and wait, having had previous experience of Messrs. Barker's methods, because it is doing useful work up here. The one point on which we appear to have no information is as to the method of fitting up the head lamps. We should be obliged if you could let us have this as soon as possible.
