To CWB. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x8950 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG7.7.27. 103-MC CAR. x8950 x8440 With reference to your CWB1/GM25.6.27. We believe the most satisfactory way of over-coming the trouble on this car is to fit the attached springs to the low pressure valves of the hydraulic dampers. If the axle still hits the buffers, we suggest that you remove ¼” of rubber therefrom. We have no front springs sufficiently heavy to make an appreciable difference in this respect.
