In reference to your memo D14/OS9214, we return a letter from The Motor Trader dated Feb. 5th, and we wish to state that the engine oil that we recommend is :- Price's Motorine "B" in the summer Price's Motorine "C" in the winter. For the Change gear Box and also the Differential Box we recommend :- Price's Battersea Gear Oil "B" (thick) in the summer. Price's Battersea Gear Oil "A" (thin) in the winter. For graphite grease use Price's Belgraphine. For Ball Bearings use Hoffmann's Ball Bearing grease, manufactured by Alec Duckham & Co.Ltd., Phoenix Wharf, Millwall.E. Castor and Lard Oil may be used in the Back Axle castings and Gear Box if extra speed or power is desired. A little engine oil is used for the Clutch.
