Re Buick. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E.30.10.we. We did about 150 miles on the latest Series 40 Buick last week-end. This car had just arrived from the United States, having been purchased over there. We were impressed with the improvement in suspension which had been effected as compared with the car which Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman demonstrated to us. We are therefore arranging with Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman to try their latest series 40, the suspension of which they said they would hope to improve, and also the series 50 which they have been marketing over here for about 6 months. We should actually purchase the car that gave the best ride, because the engines appear to be equally good from the point of view of the carburation tests which we wish to carry out.
