Guy Please receive herewith :- G.CD.1102 Modifications to Gearbox Selector Shafts etc. This is a temporary scheme to prevent the interlocking balls from dropping out of position. Existing parts are used, plugs are shown in the ends of the 1st. and 2nd and 3rd and 4th selector shafts. The shafts are at present ground all over, therefore .062 will need to be ground off the ends to enable them to be drilled and tapped for the plugs. An aluminium packing piece is shown under the selector shaft cover, the cover itself is unaltered. There is no alteration to the gearbox casing. LAH (The final scheme is G.CD.1073.)
