Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,

For the attention of Mr. N. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Chandler.

Dear Sirs,

We wish to confirm telephone conversation of this morning, and would inform you that a quantity of 10" driven plates returned for fitment of Thermoid Facings will be despatched to you on Monday.

Also we are making strenuous efforts to deliver first consignment of complete 10" clutches on Monday.

With regard to your statement to the effect that a certain quantity of driven plates returned to our Service Department for rectification had not been fitted with Thermoid Facings, and a check has been made with this Department and it would appear that this quantity of assemblies were rectified prior to your instructions to the effect that all driven plates must be fitted with Thermoid lines.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.

A.{Mr Adams} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Shinkins.
