We send you herewith a piece of belting that has been in use on the Unit Test bed. It has been driving an old type fan for about 70 hours, and a reinforced fan for about another 70 hours, a total of roughly 16800000 revs. of engine, at varying speeds. It broke while the engine was on test, it will be seen that all the links are badly worn. Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}/McM. McM | ||
