Dear Sirs,

Re: CHASSIS 5B4.

We have decided to ask you to fit the Jackall Pump on the above Chassis in the position which you have designed for it, in spite of the fact that it fouls the floorboards.

We will take the pot out of the floorboards and make them level on the passenger side. We have instructed Messrs.Park Ward & Co. to take out the depression which is troubling you.

Would you kindly send us an arrangement drawing of the Pump Box which you are endeavouring to fit to our Design Office at Derby, addressed for the attention of Mr.A.G.Elliott.

If you fit normally, a different Pump Box on the 25 HP and the Phantom, would you kindly send him also prints of these Pump Boxes.

At the same time we think it would be as well if you send a print of the Bentley Axle Fitting and one for the Rolls Royce.

Yours faithfully,
For BENTLEY MOTORS (1931) LTD.
