| 240. To H.S. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.23/AP.6.3.37. We shall shortly receive two Bentley radiator matrices which we will hand to you - one a 52 MM. Mk.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} the other a 58 MM. Mk.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} block, the latter being fitted with a bottom tank by John Marstons Ltd. Will you please fit these matrices up with standard top and bottom tanks etc. and build the 58 MM. unit up to a complete radiator with a standard set of shutters and the shell which we will hand you - also ensure that the 52.MM. Mk.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} unit is interchangeable with the 58 MM. Mk.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} one. We shall use these matrices for radiator tests at Brooklands and it will be necessary to interchange the shutters and shell between the two units. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
