Edwards, Esq. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, D E R B Y. Dear Mr. Edwards, I must apologise for not replying to your letter of the 18th ultimo, reference RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}Ed.{J. L. Edwards}6/MH.{M. Huckerby} As you know we have had both the Motor and Commercial Shows, which have taken up rather a lot of time. Now that the Show stuff is out of the way, I am arranging for one of our Engines to be stripped and weighed and will let you have the weights referred to. I very much trust you will allow us to try out your Head some time in the near future, particularly as we would rather like to try it one our 36 h.p. 6-cylinder engine, 5798 c.c. I was pleased that you enjoyed your visit; we are always glad to see you here and exchange ideas where we can. With kind regards, Yours truly, p.p. L.P. Lee MH{M.
