With reference to your CK{Mr Clark}2/T30.12.19, the feature I brought to your notice, as referred to in your memo., only affected the starter motor itself, and did not work the actuator box, otherwise I should have taken a much more serious aspect of the job.

Please do not, however, allow this point to overlook your statement that this may not be very serious when you consider that shortly we hope to have the actuating box much more powerful, as a broken connection on this job may, under certain circumstances, cause the Driver to lose control of the car.

I take it that you will arrange for the Instruction Book people to be informed of the suggestion you make re. switches all being in the "off" position before disconnecting the battery.

I am anxious that this point should also not be overlooked, in view of the fact that we are recommending customers to have separate charging plants for their batteries if they find they are not able to keep them charged by the running of the car, as it is quite possible that to do this, in most cases the batteries will have to be taken off the car.
